Tollywood actress Nusrat Jahan also feature in the commercial
Kolkata: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly will be seen in a new commercial with Tollywood heartthrob Noosrat Jahan. The elegant left hander will be seen playing Gully cricket in the commercial for Tata Tea. The entire sequence of the commercial is based on Gully cricket where Sourav is seen playing with kids. It will be the first time that the former cricketer will be seen in a commercial with Noosrat Jahan. Both will be seen taking a sip of Tata Tea towards the end of the commercial.
Sourav, an employee of Tata Steel was earlier seen in various commercials of the company. The former India cricketer is also the face of the Tata Steel 25K Marathon which is going to be held in Kolkata on December 18.
The brand value of Sourav has continued to remain steady. Even after leaving cricket in 2008, he is the most popular faces on the small screen. It is evident from the number of products he endorses these days. The Prince of Kolkata was very recently named the brand ambassadors of Senco Gold. Among the other products patronized by him are world famous Essilor lenses, DTDC Express Ltd, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, Coca Cola, BMA Steel to name a few.
40 year old Ganguly is considered to be a leader and a game changer. He has not slowed down but continues to inspire his generation.
The Tata Tea new commercial will hit the household of Bengal from next year. The television commercial will be supported by print, radio, outdoor advertising and events, making a complete 360 degrees campaign.
