Xtra Time Web Desk: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Tuesday released a new fan anthem dedicated to all the Knight Riders fans all over the world. The fan anthem titled ‘Lapaho’ which means jump in Bengali signifies the cheering of the fans especially in their absence.
The new fan anthem is composed and performed by Badshah and also features Shah Rukh Khan along with the fans. This is the first time that fans are getting to see SRK appear on-screen after his 2018 film Zero.
The anthem was released during a virtual chat between SRK and the KKR players – Captain Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik,Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson,Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
Shah Rukh Khan said in a statement, “I have been attending the matches, and I truly miss the energy of our toofani fans. Since we have to show our love to each other thoda door se this year, we created a fan anthem that captures the emotions of all our fans aptly and was even launched by them today. It was great fun to interact with the team today, and we hope to keep making our fans proud.”
