XtraTime Web Desk: The Indian Cricket team today hoisted the tri-colour at the Taj London hotel to celebrate the nation’s 72nd Independence Day.

BCCI has shared a video where it was seen that the players gathered outside their hotel to hoist the flag on the auspicious day. Head Coach Ravi Shastri hoisted the flag along with skipper Virat Kohli. After that all the players along with the support-staffs sang the national anthem. At the end of it Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli wished everyone ‘Happy Independence Day’ on behalf of the team.

Later the team left London for Nottingham where they will face England in the third Test, which is set to start from August 18.

The Men in Blue are currently 2-0 down in the five-match Test series as they lost the first Test at Edgbaston by 31 runs and later in the second Test they faced a humiliating defeat by an innings and 159 runs and if they lose the third Test in Nottingham it would be a series defeat for Virat Kohli & co. Skipper Virat Kohli and Head Coach Ravi Shastri are in tremendous pressure as well as it is in news that if India lose the third Test the BCCI may call both of them for answers.
