Xtra Time Web Desk: Ace India all rounder Hardik Pandya looks in ominous touch at the nets ahead of the upcoming five match T20I series against England starting April 12. The swashbuckling all rounder seems to be carrying the same rich form with the bat which was witnessed during the white ball series against Australia Down Under. He was seen middling the ball with utmost ease. But more than his batting what will make the fans happier is that he has been seen sweating it out with the ball in hand.

Hardik on Tuesday shared a practice video on his twitter handle with a captain that read, “Preparation done. Can’t wait to get on the field on the 12th.”

Hardik’s bowling will be crucial to India’s fortunes in the white-ball formats as he will add an extra option for India captain Virat Kohli. The absence of Hardik as a bowler was felt during the ODI and T20I series against Australia last November as the regular bowlers were hammered by the Australian batsmen. Such was the desperation that Kohli was forced to get Hardik Pandya in the attack to bowl a few overs during the second ODI in Sydney.

Hardik, of course, hasn’t been bowling ever since he made his comeback to competitive cricket last year following surgery on his back. He was injured during the Asia Cup in Dubai but went on to play the 2019 ICC World Cup. He returned to competitive cricket during the IPL 2020 in UAE.

He was in outstanding form during the ODI and T20I series in Australia. If Hardik can roll his arms for a few overs, it will definitely add to the balance of the India squad.
