The 25 year old Karjakin took the lead in the tournament after defeating Anand. karjakin became the youngest chess grand master at the age of 12 years and 7 months in the year 2002. He also became the World Cup winner in 2015.
Anand’s form has dipped in recent time, having lost eight of his last 26 games. Anand can be the number one if he wins the next game.
