Debasis Sen, Perth: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated their first marriage anniversary here in Perth on Tuesday. The couple was spotted at the Adelaide airport in the morning travelling with the members of the Indian cricket team on their way to Perth to play the second test match of the series starting on Friday, December 14, 2018. Easily the most followed couple in the country, both Virat and Anushka shared adorable posts for each other on twitter. The power tied the knot in Italy on December 11, 2017.

Kohli, posted multiple pictures of his with Anushka on Twitter and said that he can't believe it's been a year already. The Indian team skipper further expressing his happiness on the occasion wished his "best friend and soulmate" a happy anniversary.

While Anushka posted a video on Twitter and said, "it's heaven when you marry a good man". The video posted by Anushka comprised of all the memories from their wedding.

Anushka arrived in Australia a few days back to celebrate her anniversary. It couldn’t be a better moment for the Bollywood actress as she watched Virat leading the team to a historic victory from the stands at the Adelaide Oval on Monday. It was the first time ever that India won their first Test match of a series in Down Under.

The couple went to popular South Indian restaurant Annalakshmi for lunch before going for some shopping at the Westfields Shopping Mall. Later in the evening both of them went out for a private place to have dinner.

Earlier in the day, Virat set an example by vacating his business class seat in the flight to Ishant Sharma. The incident was brought to light by former England opener Michael Vaughan, who is here in Australia doing commentary for Fox Cricket.

 Vaughan tweeted, “Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !! Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches #AUSvIND”.
