Internet Desk: Virat Kohli who has opted to rest after a long season of cricket in the country could be ready to tie the knots. The Indian skipper who will not be playing the limited overs cricket against Sri Lanka could get married during this time to the Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma with whom he has been dating since quite sometime.
If reports are to be true, the star couple could have their wedding in this moth in Milan with tentative dates being 9,10 and 11.
However, Anushka’s spokesperson denied the news saying “There is absolutely no truth to it (rumours of marriage).” The denial came after several TV channels reported that the couple was likely to tie the knot.
Despite both of them has denied any news of wedding, speculations are quite high as the Indian skipper has opted himself out to rest ahead of a tour of South Africa.
Kohli who has been open about his relationship with the diva praised her in a chat show claiming Anushka to be his lady luck.
The cricketer, in a candid answer, said that “he had no brains before” and ever since “the lady” has come into his life, she’s taught him a lot of things. He added that he’s learnt a lot, and become more sensible in the last 4 years all because of her. She’s taught him how to be more patient and taught him how to utilise the position he is in to the fullest, he further said.
The cricketer also spoke about those who said: “this is what happens when you allow girlfriends on the tour.” He said that he felt, “if you don’t think this is right then no one can be in a relationship”. Virat also revealed that it was Zaheer Khan who advised him against hiding his relationship with Anushka.
