While replying about his special moment from the recently concluded Champions Trophy, Amir picked his first spell of the final where he took the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhwan to destroy the Indian batting line-up. According to Amir his fiery spell against arch-rivals India in the Asia Cup in 2016 was his career’s best bowling so far. Defending a small total of 83 runs, Amir bowled brilliantly to take the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina as he sent back all of them to the pavilion in the 3rd over of the game. Though India won that match by 5 wickets thanks to some brilliant by Virat Kohli. Earlier, India skipper Virat Kohli too praised Mohammad Amir for making a grand return to world cricket after spending five years away from the game as he was banned by ICC regarding spot-fixing controversy. “I would like to complement Mohammad Amir for the way he bowled. I actually congratulated him while he was bowling. I was so happy to play such an amazing spell. He is a world class bowler,” Kohli had said at the end of the Asia Cup game.
