Video: New Team India jersey displayed at iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai ahead of T20 World Cup

Xtra Time Web Desk: With just three days to go before the start of the T20 World Cup 2021, Dubai is gearing up for the occasion. The iconic Burj Khalifa was illuminated on Wednesday displaying the new jersey of Team India which was unveiled by the BCCI.

MPL, who are the proud sponsors of the Indian cricket team shared a video of the new jersey getting displayed on the tallest building of the world. Taking to their Instagram handle, MPL sports wrote, “The Billion Cheers Jersey on Burj Khalifa. For the first time ever a Team India Jersey has gone up on the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa! Time to #ShowYourGame and support Team India.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India unveiled the ‘Billion Cheers Jersey’ on its social media handle twitter. A picture of Indian captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah with the new jersey was shared by the BCCI, which immediately became viral.

Hours after the announcement, the jersey was displayed at the iconic Burj Khalifa. The image of the jersey and the Indian players donning it sparkled in the evening lights of the world’s tallest building.

The Men In Blue will kick start its campaign in T20 World Cup against arch rivals Pakistan on October 24 at the Dubai International Stadium.
