On the inaugural day of the league in Kolkata, the National Anthem will be sung by the lady with a melodious voice, none other than Monali Thakur. The famous Bollywood singer has won numerous laurels for songs like ‘Sawaar Loon’ and ‘Tune Maari Entriyaan’(Bengali version). Day 2 in the City of Joy will be graced by Kolkata’s very own vibrant songstress Usha Uthup who will kick-start the match day by reciting the national anthem in her inimitable voice.
Day 3 and 4 of the caravan in Kolkata will also be graced by eminent personalities, musicians, bands and local heroes excited to get their fill of the extremely engaging tournament. The tradition for the National Anthem recitation before each match by a much adored personality is something that the audience eagerly looks forward to.
The power packed action begins in Kolkata on February 7, 2016 at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium with the home team Bengal Warriors taking on Puneri Paltan followed by a match between Jaipur Pink Panthers vs. Dabang Delhi K.C.
