Xtra Time Web Desk: Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Umran Malik bowled the fastest delivery in the ongoing IPL season against Chennai Super Kings at MCA stadium on Sunday night. The fast bowler from Jammu & Kashmir clocked an astonishing 154 kmph. Umran went past Gujarat Titans Lockie Ferguson who clocked 153.90 kmph.
The SRH fast bowler once again caught everyone’s attention during the match with his sheer pace.
During his first spell, Umran bowled the fastest delivery of this year’s IPL, and that clocked 154 kmph. It was the third delivery of the 10th over bowler by Umran which took Chennai Super Kings opener Ruturaj Gaikwad by surprise as his top edge went over the wicketkeeper for a boundary to reach his fifty.
Umran has been the find of IPL 2022 as he has clocked 145 kmph consistently. His previous fastest delivery was 153.30 kmph. He is also fifth in the wicket takers list with 15 wickets so far.
