With this win the Red & Gold brigade is at the top of the table in their group with 13 points from 6 matches. Arch rival Mohun Bagan is at same points after playing same number matches, but they are behind in head to head against East Bengal.
The goals were scored by Vidyasagar and Lalchawnhima in favour of the Red & Gold brigade.
