Kolkata: Ahead of the East Bengal’s next match in the CFL against Army XI on Friday, coach Trevor Morgan is worried about his left-winger Lalrindika Ralte as he is suffering from his calf-muscle injury which forced him out of the last two seasons.

Not only for the Army XI match, Trevor Morgan is not planning anything keeping Dika in his mind as he feels Dika may be missed for the next few matches. Trevor will decide on Dika after having a talk with him tomorrow in the practice session.

East Bengal will play Army XI in Barasat stadium astro-turf after playing couple of matches in Kalyani Stadium’s natural turf.

Asking Morgan that will it be an issue for the players to adjust, the gaffer said, “This is an added advantage for us as the Barasat’s astro-turf is much better than the other astro-turf pitches in Kolkata. If we look into the match between Mohammedan Sporting and Army XI in Mohammedan’s home ground, the ball got stuck on the pitch which became an advantage for Mohammedan as they were leading 1-0. I have heard from my players that Barasat’s turf will suit the players in this weather.”

Today, the whole East Bengal team had a gym session in their club tent under the watchful eyes of Morgan and Dryden and will resume training from tomorrow in the Howrah stadium ahead of the Army XI  match on Friday.
