Kolkata: East Bengal pre-season training has begun couple of days ago but the Red and Golds third foreigner for the CFL is yet to be decided. The Red and Gold officials and coach has decided not to wait too long for the third foreigner. Trevor Morgan said, “I will not wait too long for the third foreigner(Wedson). I am not too sure about Wedson’s status. I heard that his paper works are on but I don not know when will he be joining. If he does not come, I will be looking for some other forward because I am short of strikers.”

Trevor Morgan is open to coaching in ISL after the CFL gets over. The gaffer is keeping his provision open for joining any franchisee in the high profile league. Trevor said, “I may join or may not join.”

Trevor James Morgan did not want to comment Mohun Bagan withdrawing from playing the derby. He also dismissed the fact that East Bengal are shear contenders of winning the CFL for a record seventh time after Bagan’s withdrawl. He said, “In football, you cannot predict anything from before hand. I guess you people have not forget the match against Aryan which we lost 4-1.”

The Red and Gold gaffer seemed not to sure about Cavin Lobo’s availability in the CFL as he has not recovered from injury yet, which he suffered last season.

On asking Morgan about the releasing of the senior pros from the club, he said, “They performed immensely well for the club for the last few years. But now its time for the juniors to come forward and show their skills. I hope the juniors will do well and I have faith on them. The officials took the final decision of releasing the senior players.”

East Bengal’s new recruit Calum Angus was unveiled today at the club tent as he was handed over the Red and Gold jersey no.4. On asking Calum Angus about facing the strikers like Darryl Duffy and Odafa in the CFL, he said, “I have played against these strikers earlier. It is not a problem for me. I know how to tackle these players. They are really very good strikers with excellent goal scoring ability.”

Korean Do-Dong Hyun said, “I want to start afresh again. I want to play well both in the cFl and I-league and want to win both the trophies for East Bengal.”
