Popularly known as Danmawia played the last couple of seasons for Quess East Bengal FC and finished the last I-League with 8 goals as the second highest goalscorers among the Indians after Jobby Justin.
There were speculations that he might join arch rivals Mohun Bagan, but in the end it seems that the former Aizawl FC star will be up for the ISL challenge for the first time in his career.
