This Bangladesh all-rounder is forced to celebrate 33rd birthday in US under self isolation

XtraTime Web Desk: Bangaldesh former captain and superstar all rounder Shakib Al Hasan is forced to celebrate his 33rd birthday in self isolation in America due to the coronavirus pandemic. Shakib, who is serving a 2 year ban imposed by International Cricket Council (ICC) for not reporting multiple approaches by bookmakers, is currently in the States without his family. In a video post on social media platform the former Bangladesh skipper expressed his grief for not being physically present with his wife Umme Ahmed and daughter Alaina Hasan.

In the video, Shakib al Hasan can be heard expressing his grief over not being able to see his daughter after going to the USA. However, the all-rounder said that he needed to make the sacrifice for their well-being in the long run. Shakib al Hasan, in his video over coronavirus, said that he reached the USA a few days ago and was a bit worried during the flight. But he tried to keep up with the hygiene directives and precautionary measures and after reaching the United States, self-isolated himself in the hotel. He also said that it was painful not to meet his daughter after coming to the States, but the sacrifice is very important during coronavirus situation.

33 years old Shakib is easily the most celebrated cricketers in Bangladesh along with former captain Moshraffe Mortaza.
