New Talents that will give us a Brilliant ISL Season 3 Performance

Internet Desk: The Hero ISL Season 3 can be a brilliant season for a few Indian youngsters who will play their first ISL season. XtraTime.in is showcasing the top five sensations, who have the quality to lead their side to glory as well as making a startling presence for all the football lovers.

File Pic[/caption] Lallianzuala Chhangte (NorthEast United) :The wonder-kid made his debut for India on 25 December 2015 against Sri Lanka when he was substituted for Robin Singh in 77th minute with India winning the match 2–0. He became 502nd player to represent the Indian national team. In December 2015, Chhangte scored 2 goals for India in their 4-1 victory over Nepal in the 2015 SAFF Championship. Chhangte represented India U19s for the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship qualification. He was scouted by DSK Shivajians’s Liverpool International Football Academy a couple of seasons back to play for their under-18 team’s debut season in the 2014-15 U-19 Hero I-League season by the Liverpool youth coaches and scouts of their academy. Chhangte finished that season as the top scorer of that league with as many as 16 goals and helped his DSK team to qualify for the final round where they finished at the 7th place. Highly impressed with his form, India U19’s coach Lee Johnson called him up to represent for the Indian National Team in the 2015 FAM-FRENZ Asia U-18 Champions Trophy season, where the Blue Tigers reached the semi-finals before they lost to Japan’s Kashima Antlers in the two legged tie. Chhangte was retained by DSK Shivajians to play in the newly formatted 2015-16 Hero I-League U18, where the little genius helped his team to qualify for the final round again with 9 goals in the Maharashtra zone. Chhangte’s team finished 3rd in the final round of the plays offs as he scored 2 more goals to take his tally to 11 for the season.
In March 2016, young Chhangte along with club teammate Jerry trained at Liverpool FC’s youth academy at Kirkby after impressing all the youth coaches at DSK’s LFC academy in India. The highly talented NorthEast United forward will be a star attraction in ISL Season 3.

Avinas Ruidas (Atletico de Kolkata) : Another extremely talented youngster, the East Bengal winger was first discovered by the former East Bengal coach Armando Colaco. The left-footed sensation played a brilliant role in his first Kolkata Derby in the 2014 season of the Calcutta Football League. The youngster scored a match-winning goal against the mighty Bengaluru FC at the Salt Lake Stadium. The glimpses of his mind blowing individual skills and the ball runs impressed all. He got a call up in the Indian U-23 team as well. The team-mates in his I-League club call him “Angel Di Maria” for his style of play. Di Maria is his idol as well. The youngster has got his first ISL contract this season from Atletico de Kolkata after some ineffable performances in the ongoing Calcutta Football League.

Sumit Passi (NorthEast United) : An ideal forward in modern day football who has speed, skill, height and great physique to trouble any opposition, Sumit Passi has undoubtedly a great talent. The hunger for goal has already marked him as a menacing force in Indian football. The youngster has already made his debut for India under Coach Stephen Constantine a few months back. The Punjabi lad played extremely well against Laos in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifier and scored a goal to help India to get a 6-1 victory as well. The energetic Sporting Clube de Goa forward had a brilliant season in 2015-16. The contract with NorthEast United in ISL Season 3 will certainly give him a wonderful opportunity to showcase his talent.

File Pic[/caption] Bidyananda Singh Ningthoujam (Atletico de Kolkata) : One of the most promising young defensive midfielders of India U-20 Bidyananda Singh Ningthoujam will undoubtedly be a star attraction in the ISL Season 3. The Manipuri lad is already coined as Indian “Keisuke Honda” by Barcelona coaches during the training camp at Aspire Academy in Doha. Young Bidyananda became one of the only two Indian players to play in the Aspire Academy’s All Star Team. He had a dream debut by scoring the opening goal of a 3-1 win over the mighty Dutch side, AFC Ajax as well. The fact that the Indian youngster took up a place in the All Star Team in favour of a Japanese player was an incredibly ironic coincidence. The trial ended very well for Bidyananda, as he was awarded the player of the camp by Barcelona coaches. His stint for Atletico de Kolkata is surely going to be a star attraction. The Mohun Bagan Academy product is known for his instinctive quality of controlling the midfield. A magnificent ball player. The 23 years old Mizoram midfielder will make the game difficult for many. The ISL Season 3 can turn out to be a brilliant opportunity for this highly talented midfielder as he will get the “terrific trio” of Diego Forlan-Sunil Chettri-Sony Norde on the upfront to showcase his talent once more. The quality he carries can gift Mumbai City FC the asset they wanted in the central midfield.
