Though the parent body of Indian football wanted the details of East Bengal’s travel and stay details for the tour. East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar stated, “Kashmir’s condition is not yet normal. That is why AIFF wanted us to share the details.”

But one thing has been evident, East Bengal is not following the footsteps of Minerva Punjab to give the walkover. The East Bengal official said, “Our request is to reschedule the match when the situation would be under control. But if we are compelled to play there, we have to convince the players and the coaching staff to play.”

The Quess East Bengal officials are also unhappy about their fixtures. Debabrata Sarkar said, “We have a match on the 25th and then we have to play in Kashmir on 28th. This is tough for the players.”
