Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India’s poor performance in the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup, where they made a group league exit, will be the main topic of discussion during the Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, scheduled in Kolkata on Saturday, December 4. The meeting which is being held at the Taj Bengal hotel in Kolkata is attended by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Secretary Jay Shah , Treasurer Arun Dhumal, Senior Vice President Rajiv Shukla and all board members.

It will be interesting to see what BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah have to say when they apprise the members about the team’s poor performance in the global meet.

India made a group stage exit to cap a poor show in the T20 World Cup. The Board is set to discuss the way forward given there are back-to-back World Cups in 2022 and 2023.

Following the debacle in the UAE, India have a new coaching set up in head coach Rahul Dravid who has been appointed at the helm till the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.

Dravid and the new support staff took charge in the ongoing home series against New Zealand and team building would be a key focus area.
