T20 World Cup 2021: Virat Kohli rolls his arms in warm up game against Australia | Watch
Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India captain Virat Kohli on Wednesday decided to roll his arms in the second warm up game of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2021 against Australia at the ICC cricket academy ground on Wednesday. Kohli has decided to rest himself along with Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah for the game.
But surprising everyone Kohli not only came on to the ground but even bowled 2 overs for the team. Rohit at the toss did hint that the sixth bowlers’ option is something that the team management is looking at given that Hardik is still not ready to bowl.
Kohli conceded only 12 runs in his 2 overs. He came on to bowl after the powerplay.
India had a convincing win in the first warm up game against England on Sunday, winning by six wickets. The Men in Blue will kick start their campaign against arch rivals Pakistan on October 24.
