Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian captain Virat Kohli on Friday visited Scotland’s dressing room after registering a comprehensive eight-wicket win in T20 World Cup contest on Friday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India bundled out Scotland for 85 in 17.4 overs after deciding to bowl first. In reply the trusted opening pair of Rohit Sharma (30) and KL Rahul (50) made short work by chasing the target in 6.3 overs.

However, the fate of Men in Blue is beyond their control in the tournament after getting outplayed by Pakistan and New Zealand in their first two games.

Following the win, Indian captain Kohli and some other team members like KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah were spotted visiting the Scotland dressing room, as players were seen interacting with each other.

Few days back Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer did say that he would like to invite Kohli to their dressing room after the match.

“Virat Kohli is a fantastic ambassador of the game. Some of our guys were very lucky to go and speak to Mujeeb ur Rahman and even Rashid Khan after the game at Sharjah. But yes, we want our guys to find ways to speak to them. Whoever that player is, whether it be Kohli or Rashid or Williamson, that’s the only way and the best way to learn,” said Coetzer.

“Huge respect to @imVkohli and co. for taking the time. Priceless,” Scotland Cricket captioned the post in a series of tweets.
