Xtra Time Web Desk: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has recently unveiled the official jerseys for the upcoming T20 World Cup which will start in Oman and UAE from October 17. The jerseys were unveiled by Khaled Mahmud Sujon, the director of the national team and Akram Khan, the cricket operation chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

There are three sets of match jerseys were launched in the event. The Tigers are set to start their campaign on Sunday, October 17 with their match against Scotland at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1), Al Amerat in Oman.

Papua New Guinea and hosts Oman are also placed in Group A. The other Group features the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Namibia. Four out of the eight teams will progress to the Super 12s, which are scheduled to get underway on Saturday, October 23.

Bangladesh, led by Mahmudullah Riyad, failed to qualify for the main round as they didn’t finish among the top eight teams in ICC T20 rankings.

The Tigers have had a decent run in the T20 format in recent times. Since losing to New Zealand in March at the latter’s backyard, Bangladesh won T20 series against Zimbabwe, New Zealand and Australia at home.
