Internet Desk: Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday said strict action must be taken against those who had attacked India’s defense forces in Chhattisgarh.

25 CRPF jawans were killed in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district couple on Monday. Taking to twitter the opening batsman wrote, “Chattisgarh, Kashmir, North East,do v need more alarm bells or r we a deaf state?Life of my countrymen isn’t cheap,someone needs 2 pay 4 it.”

Over 300 Maoists suddenly attacked a CRPF team which was working to build a road in Sukma region. 25 jawans were killed in the attack and six were severely injured. The incident took place only two kms away from the CRPF camp. The Maoists easily outnumbered 99 jawans as they were carrying rocket launchers and AK 47s. After the ambush, the injured CRPF jawans were taken to Raipur through air-ambulance for better treatment. Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Chhattisgarh’s CM Raman Singh laid wreath to honour the CRPF personnel on Tuesday.
