Sourav Ganguly scouts the future fast bowling weapons from India U19 squad

Internet Desk: Former India skipper and an important member of the Cricket Advisory Committee of BCCI Sourav Ganguly has asked current India captain Virat Kohli and his former teammate VVS Laxman to have a look at the current three fast bowlers of Indian U19 team who are currently playing the ICC U19 World Cup.

Sourav is currently in New Zealand where he is doing commentary for the ICC U19 World Cup. Prithvi Shaw led Indian U19 team thumped Australia by 100 runs in their first outing in the tournament today.

Skipper Prithvi Shaw hammered the Aussie bowlers through all parts of the ground and scored 94 runs as the Blue colts put up a huge total of 328 runs. But Ganguly had all his concentration on Indian pacers Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti.

The pace duo picked three wickets each and gave only 45 and 29 runs respectively.

The former India skipper posted a tweet on his official account and praise both of them for their brilliant performances in the game.

Not only Ganguly, but India’s former star opener Virender Sehwag too praised the Indian quick bowlers for their speed and consistency at this early age.

India still has two group matches left and one can count on the these quick bowlers to perform well in the remainder of the matches and help the side to win the title for the fourth time.
