Kolkata: Mohun Bagan’s star midfielder Mehtab Hossain has finally decided to hang his boots after the ongoing Calcutta Football League season. Mehtab had a great start to the season for Mohun Bagan where he came on as a substitute against New Barrackpore Rainbow AC and appeared to be a game changer with two assists.
The star midfielder had previously decided to retire in East Bengal shirt, but after a lot of turmoil, the experienced campaigner decided to join arch rivals Mohun Bagan in a ‘snatch’ deal.
Confirmed sources informed www.xtratime.in that, Mehtab has already informed the Bagan coach and officials that he wants to give his time to his family and wants to call a press conference after rthe Calcutta Football League season.
