Shoaib Akhtar wants this Bollywood actor to play his role in biopic

XtraTime Web Desk: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar wants Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to play his role if ever a biopic is made on him. In an interactive session on Help App, the Rawalpindi Express has expressed his desire to have Salman playing his role. There have been quite a few biopics made on the contemporary cricketers. ‘MS Dhoni – the Untold Story’ is the most popular biopic in recent times made on the former India captain.

In the show, Shoaib was asked about the hero he thinks should portray his character on the screen if ever a biopic is made on him. The Rawalpindi Express named none other than Salman. The ‘Bhaijaan’ actor is very popular in the cross border nation too.

Shoaib also expressed his eagerness to coach Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The speedster was a part of the Shah Rukh Kahn owned franchise back in 2008, the only season for him in the cash-rich league. The Rawalpindi Express had a memorable debut for the Kolkata based franchise against the Delhi Daredevils, now Capitals at the Eden Gardens in 2008. He had a match winning spell, picking 4 wickets in three overs. His spell that night read 3-0-11-4.

Shoaib was awarded the Player of the Match for his performance. After the thrilling win, KKR team owner Shah Rukh Khan was seen in the arms of the Pak bowler. Shoaib went on to play only a couple of more games for KKR in that inaugural season of IPL.
