Internet Desk : Mohammed Shami who has just made his return to the Indian Team has been ruled out of India’s tour of Australia . The BCCI medical team confirmed that Mohammed Shami will not be available for the remainder of the series . He sustained a Grade II injury to his left hamstring, which will restrict him from playing active cricket for about 4 to 6 weeks. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the replacement, who will join the team tomorrow.

Shami pulled his hamstring while warming up before the practice  match against Western Australia XI . Shami was injured during the training session ahead of the warm-up match against western Australia.

Shami emerged as India’s second highest wicket taker with 17 wickets in the ICC World Cup last year . But had undergone a surgery after returning from Australia in March last year. He recently appeared for Bengal in Syed Mustaq Ali trophy before flying out  to Australia .
