In a shameful incident, few insensitive social media users have been sending rape threats to Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s five-year-old daughter Ziva after Chennai Super Kings lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in an IPL 2020 match at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. It once again establishes how the fans can turn into maniacs. The fans who are quite emotional about the game, don’t spare any player if their performance is not up to the mark. Recently CSK Captain MS Dhoni became a target of insensitive online haters after his team lost the match to KKR. While trolling Dhoni, the haters attacked his five-year-old daughter Ziva too and posted abusive messages and rape threats for the child. The screenshots of the comment have gone viral on Twitter with many lashing out at a section of fans for dragging the family of a big personality every now and then without any reason.
MS Dhoni hasn’t had a great time in the ongoing IPL so far with the bat. His batting number was the talking point earlier. But even after walking out to bat at four against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the CSK skipper couldn’t do much getting out on 11 off 12 deliveries. He has so far scored only 102 runs in five innings with the best score of 47*.
Irrespective of the performances of the cricketers, the fans should refrain from abusing and dragging their families.
