Serie A: Cristiano Ronaldo in perfect condition on return from lockdown, says Juventus teammate

XtraTime Web Desk: Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is in awe to see teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in perfect condition since retruning to Italy after lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Portugese footballer has been spending time with his family during the forced break from football as the Serie A was suspended since March 9 due to coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bonucci said,”He is a super athlete, a great professional. He told me what he did to keep fit during the quarantine. He presented himself in perfect condition. He cannot amaze, he is a champion, from all points of view.”

Ronaldo has been working on his physique during the lockdown as well and has kept himself in perfect shape. With the COVID-19 pandemic improving, Italian government has eased the restrictions.

Juventus players are gearing up for return to training on June 12 post lockdown. The Italian Football Federation has given the green signal to the clubs to resume full contact training. The football season will resume with the Coppa Italia semi final and finals followed by Serie A.
