Sania Mirza-Martina Hingis reach 3rd round in French Open

File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: Top seeds Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis defeated Japanese pair of Nao Hibino and Eri Hozumi in straight sets to reach the third round of the women's doubles event at French Open in Paris today. The Indo-Swiss pair got the better of the Japanese pair 6-2 6-0 in a lop-sided match in the second round here. Sania and Hingis will next take on Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova of Czech Republic. Earlier in the day, India's Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna sailed into the men's doubles third round with their respective partners. Sixth seeds Bopanna and Florian Mergea defeated the French pair of Gregoire Barrere and Quentin Halys 6-3 6-4 in the second round here. Paes, playing with Polish partner Marcin Matkowski, too won their second round match comfortably. The 16th seeds beat the Austrian-German combine of Julian Knowle and Florian Mayer 6-4, 6-3 on Court 14 at Roland Garros.
