Rohit Sharma rested from India A’s four-day match against New Zealand A





XtraTime Web Desk: Ace Indian batsman Rohit Sharma will miss the A teams forthcoming tour to New Zealand. The Mumbai batsman was originally named in India A’s squad for the first four-day match against New Zealand A. He has been advised rest by the BCCI Medical Team in consultation with the team management and the All-India Senior Selection Committee. The decision was taken keeping in mind his recent workload.




Rohit will now travel with India’s T20 squad that will leave for Australia on November 16, 2018, from Mumbai. Virat Kohli and his team will take the Aussies in the first T20I at the Gabba on November 21. India are scheduled to play 3 T20I matches along with four test matches and three ODI’s.
