Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India wicket keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is believed to be the Indian cricketer who has tested positive for COVID-19 in UK. According to reports, Pant has tested positive few days back and is now in his 8th day of isolation at a relative’s place.

The Delhi cricketer was seen visiting Wembley stadium with friends to watch Euro 2020 match. He was spotted not wearing masks at the packed stadium. He even clicked selfies with his friends at the Wembley stadium. If reports are to be believed, Pant tested positive for Covid-19 but he is asymptomatic.

Not only Rishabh Pant, even players like Jasprit Bumrah and Hanuma Vihari visited the Wembley Stadium to enjoy Euro 2020 action. While Team India Head Coach Ravi Shastri visited Wimbledon to watch some tennis action. Shastri was at the Wimbledon center court to watch Roger Federer’s second round match. He was back at the All England Lawn Tennis club for the final. Ravichandran Ashwin and fielding coach R Sridhar too visited Wimbledon to enjoy the tennis action.

The Indian squad members were given a three week break after the World Test Championship Final at Southampton. The players were out of the bio bubble. While the players accompanied with their families prefer to stay safe and avoided going to crowded places, it is the bachelor guys who chose to make the most of the break from cricket.

The Indian squad will be travelling to Durham on Thursday for a camp ahead of the five match test series against England which starts next month in Nottingham. The Indian team will play a three day practice game from July 20-22 against a County Championship XI at Riverside Durham.
