Internet Desk: Indian boxers are trying to follow the path of former Olympic Medallist Vijender Singh. After Vikas Krishan another boxer Manoj Kumar also reached the round of 16 yesterday. He earned a hard win against Evaldas Pertauskas of Lithuania.

The Light Welter weight(64kg) boxer of India faced a tough challenge from the boxer of Lithuania, the defending Bronze Medalist of Olympics. he also won the Gold of Youth Olympic in 2010. However, Manoj was all set to win the match from the first set. He scored two consecutive 10s in first set that gave him the delight to challenge his opponent. In the second set he was just complete to score 30.

In the last set Manoj lost by scoring 28. Evaldas scored 28in the first two sets. Thus at the end of three sets Manoj Kumar won it by 2-1.

In the round of 16 Manoj has to face Fazluddin Giabnazarov of Uzbekistan.
