Ranjit Trophy 2021-22 : Ajinkya Rahane makes headlines with a brilliant century against Saurashtra
Xtra Time Web Desk : Former Team India vice captain Ajinkya Rahane on Thursday scored a brilliant century against Saurashtra in opening match of the Ranji Trophy 2021-22.
The Premium domestic tournament which is made it's way back after two long years saw the comeback of an Rahane who was coming from a lean patch in International cricket.
The 33 year old's off form for the last few months saw his place in the Indian Test team being questioned especially after that disastrous South Africa tour.
However, this century of his against a strong Saurashtra side could serve as a mean of comeback for the experienced Mumbaikar into the International cricket arena.
