XtraTime Web Desk: Ranjit Bajaj's Minerva has taken over a Delhi based club and they are giving it a name Delhi Football Club(Delhi FC).

The capital city of the nation has always produced many talented footballers in the past who have given many memorable moments to the Indian Football fans. The best example among those is the country's football team captain Sunil Chhetri. On being asked about the new venture, Ranjit Bajaj told www.xtratime.in that,"There are fans from the Delhi Dynamos Ultras in our management, so you can say that it's a fans based club. My aim is to produce more Sunil Chhetri for Indian Football. Many people has said that Indian football needs more players like Sunil for the betterment of Indian Football, but we are forgetting the league that produced Sunil Chhetri. So if we need more Sunil Chhetri then we have to back Delhi League more."

Bajaj main aim is to see Delhi Football Club in the I-League."My aim is to qualify for the I-League through the right way. Hopefully we will do well this season and when we will get the opportunity to play the Second Division League qualifiers, my team will definitely do well and play the second division league and later play the I-League when promotion and relegation starts again,"added Bajaj.
