Prime Minister Narendra Modi to auction Neeraj Chopra’s Javelin, Sindu’s racquet & Lovlina Borgohain gloves for charity

Xtra Time Web Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be auctioning the signed javelin of Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra. The Prime Minister during a recently held function at his residence to meet and greet the Tokyo Olympics athletes suggested to the medal winners that he wants to auction their memorabilia for a good cause.

The PM also made similar requests to PV Sindhu and boxer Lovlina Borgohain to auction their badminton and boxing gloves. The Indian hockey team presented a signed hockey stick to the Prime Minister. Every athlete readily agreed with the Prime Minister’s views to put their sports goods for charity to raise funds for a noble cause.  

In a video uploaded by Narendra Modi on his YouTube channel, the Indian Prime Minister could be seen sharing some heartfelt moments with the Indian athletes after their success Tokyo Olympics campaign. Having invited the entire contingent for breakfast, Modi felicitated them, sharing his message to them before requesting a favour out of Neeraj Chopra, Lovlina Borgohain and PV Sindhu.

The Honourable Prime Minister pledged that he would be auctioning the memorabilia for a good cause, and more details on that are yet to be released.
