XtraTime Web Desk: A late strike from super sub Andriy Yarmolenko gave West Ham United a 3-2 win over Chelsea in Premier League at London stadium on Wednesday night. The Blues lost a golden opportunity to climb up on the ladder in the points table as earlier in the day Leicester City lost to Everton 1-2. Frank Lampard’s side is on 54 points from 32 matches, one behind Leicester City. Fifth placed Manchester United now has two points difference with the East London club.

Tomas Soucek (45+2’), Michail Antonio (51’) and Andriy Yarmolenko (89’) were on target for the home side while Willian scored both goals (42’penalty, 72’) for Chelsea.

The Hammers were controversially denied a genuine goal when Tomas Soucek's strike was disallowed by VAR. The visitors took the lead through a penalty strike from Willian in the 42nd minute. But goals from Soucek in the injury time of first half and Michail Antonio immediately after the break gave the home side the lead. However, a superb free-kick from Willian in the 72nd minute gave Chelsea the equalizer. Substitute Andriy Yarmolenko cut past Antonio Rudiger to fire home the winner in the 89th minute.

In another Premier League fixture Leicester City lost against Everton at Goodison Park. Richarlison (10’) and G Sigurdsson (16’penalty) were on target for the home side while K Iheanacho (51’) reduced the margin for Leicester.
