Internet Desk: Manchester United’s aspiration of a top 4 finish gets another blow today as Jose Mourinho’s injury-pricked side ends up with their 10th draw at Old Trafford in this Premier League. A sublime free kick from Gylfi Sigurdsson earned Swansea an immensely important point in their battle to save the relegation in the Premier League.

The Iceland international Sigurdsson’ inswing curler over the wall from about 20 yards to cancel out Wayne Rooney’s penalty and move the Swans to within two points of 17th positioned Hull City.

United stay fifth but now level on points with Manchester City, who will play Middlesbrough tonight, and a point behind Liverpool after the same number of games.

The disappointment of the dropped points was compounded by the loss of both Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw to injuries, joining a list that already includes fellow defenders Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo.

But the result was probably fair on Swansea, who had every reason to claim that Marcus Rashford dived for the penalty that Rooney converted in the added minutes of the first half to give United a 1-0 lead at the break.

United’s injury worries got a further blow as both Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly had to leave the field after picking up injuries to put the Portuguese manager in serious trouble now.
