Xtra Time Web Desk : Liverpool on Tuesday travelled to Leicester for their Premier League match against the foxes. And expectedly so, the Reds were hugely favourites in what was a superb clash. But however, the home side had the last laugh as they beat Klopp’s Liverpool by a 1-0 margin.
Although Liverpool controlled the match both in terms of possession and shots on goal but failed to capitalize on their chances. Mohammed Salah missed a penalty, his first miss after 2017.
Leicester on the other hand with much lesser chances and ball possession took their opportunities to the fullest as Lookman scored the only decisive goal of the match on the 59 minute mark for the foxes.
Although Liverpool in the last 30 minutes created a lot of chances, but could not take any one of them. They now face a huge task in the Premier League race as they have to catch league leaders Manchester City who now have a lead of 6 points over Liverpool.
