Pele likely to be released from hospital ‘in a few days’ following his latest Chemotherapy

Xtra Time Web Desk : Former World Cup winner, the legendary Pele was admitted to the hospital on Thursday in order to take Chemotherapy following his issues with the Colon Tumor he had.


Regarding this matter, the player of the 20th century took to his Instagram to write, “I have been having small chemotherapy sessions as part of my treatment. Today I’m at Albert Einstein (hospital) doing the last session of 2021. I wanted to share this achievement with you. After all, every little victory is a reason to celebrate,” he wrote from the Sao Paulo hospital. I’m going to take this chance to do a new battery of exams, so I’m going to stay here for a few days. Don’t worry, I’m just getting ready for the holiday season!”


Pele, who is widely considered as one of the greatest football players of all time, has won three World Cups, namely 1958, 1962 and 1970. He is the only player in the game’s history to achieve this incredible feat. The Brazilian legend burst on to the World stage when he was just 17 years old to score two incredible goals in the 1958 World Cup final to help Brazil win their first ever World Cup.
