PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan Claims Bangladesh Ready To Visit Pakistan

Internet Desk: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan has said that Bangladesh have agreed to play in Pakistan although he didn’t reveal the schedule of the matches.

Earlier a bilateral series was planned between India and Pakistan but got cancelled as India Government didn’t give the permission to host the matches.PCB hosted the recently concluded  Pakistan Super League in the United Arab Emirates due to security concerns as lot of Intrnational cricketers were playing in the tournament. Last year Pakistan played their first international series against Zimbabwe after a gap of almost six years.

Shaharyar Khan also added that the security of the Pakistan Cricket Team who will be participating in the World T20 is the sole responsibility of Indian Government. Pakistan will play their first match of the World T20 at the Eden Gardens.

On being asked why things didn’t materialize between Sir Viv Richards and PCB, he answered that the board had offered Viv but he chose to work with PTV Sports.
