XtraTime Web Desk: Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan’s Senagalese striker Papa Babacar Diawara has been asked to vacate his flat by June 20 by the owners. The owner it is learnt no longer wants to keep the former Sevilla footballer in their flat as they got another tenant. The whole incident has left Diawara a little anxious as he does not know where to go in the city. The footballer from Dakar is in constant touch with Bagan officials who have assured him that everything will be taken care of and he will not face any problem.

Earlier Komron Tursunov too got into trouble with his return back home. But the Mohun Bagan officials came to his rescue. They ensured Tursunov can catch the flight to Tajikistan in spite of the nationwide lockdown. The Bagan officials arranged Tursunov’s travel to Delhi by road so that he can reach the capital to take the flight back home. The Tajakistan footballer posted a picture of himself on reaching the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Both Papa Babacar Diawara and Komron Tursunov played a key role in Mohun Bagan clinching the I League title. In fact Babacar became an integral member for Kibu Vicuna and his team. The Bagan officials are giving Papa the constant support he needed during this concerning time. They have assured Diawara’s accommodation in the city will be taken care of.

Mohun Bagan signed the 31-year-old Senegalese striker in place of Salva Chamorro to strengthen the attacking zone. He did not disappoint the Mohun Bagan officials and fans as he played a key role in helping the century old club to clinch the I League for a second time.
