Sixth seeds Bopanna and Florian Mergea defeated theFrench pair of Gregoire Barrere and Quentin Halys 6-3 6-4 inthe second round here. Paes, playing with Polish partner Marcin Matkowski, toowon their second round match comfortably. The 16th seeds beat the Austrian-German combine of JulianKnowle and Florian Mayer 6-4, 6-3 on Court 14 at RolandGarros. Later today, women's doubles top seeds, Sania Mirza andMartina Hingis, will take on the Japanese pair of Nao Hibinoand Eri Hozumi in the second round.
