Esha’s Silver, Pincky’s Bronze: India Adds Two More Medals at Asian Games
Esha has given a fierce and fighting performance in the 25m pistol final. The 21-year-old Hyderabadi shooter Esha qualified for the final in 8th place with 580 points and 22Xs, she finished the final with 38 hits which is exactly the same score as China's Xiao Jiaruxuan. Through shoot offs the gold medal was decided. Esha went through five shoot-offs during her medal battle and eventually lost the gold medal shoot off.
XtraTime Webdesk: India has added two more medals in its medal tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Monday on September 28th. This victory came after Esha Singh won silver in the women's 25m pistol and Pincky Balhara won bronze in the women's 78 kg Kurash event. Till now India has bagged 39 nedkas which has four golds, seventeen silver, and 18 bronze. Currently, India ranks 12th in the overall medal standings.

The medal is Esha's second individual Asian Games silver in the 25m pistol, after her silver at the 2023 Hangzhou Games. In current world stats, Esha is currently no. 1 in the event and holds the senior world record of 43 hits.
In Kurash, Pincly Balhara has defeated South Korea's Garam Lim 3-0 in the quarterfinals to secure a medal. However, in the semifinal she lost 0-5 to South Korea's Sumin Mo in the semifinal. Mo scored a Yonbosh, while Balhara recieved a Dakki penalty. The bronze is Balhara's second Asian Games medal, following her silver in the women's 52 kg category at Jakart
