XtraTime Web Desk: India cricketer Hardik Pandya has hailed Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as his real life hero following the actor’s decision to donate INR 25 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to combat the deadly outbreak of coronavirus. The all rounder took to twitter to express his feelings as he wrote, "After this you are my real life hero! Respect and respect only." https://twitter.com/hardikpandya7/status/1243935867653074945?s=19 Akshay Kumar on Saturday decided to donate INR 25 crore and posted it on his official social media profiles. "This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai," he tweeted. There have been contributions from business tycoons, actors, sports celebrities, industrialists and organizations. Earlier, the BCCI also donated Rs 51 crore to the PM's Relief Fund on Saturday. Among the cricketers, Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Sourav Ganguly and Suresh Raina have come forward to support the Government in its fight to combat the novel coronavirus outbreak.
