‘Never Easy, But Always Worth It’: Jasprit Bumrah shares fitness video

Xtra Time Web Desk: Good news for Indian cricket fans as ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah is on course to return to action somewhere next year. The news couldn’t have come at any better time for the Rohit Sharma-led side. Bumrah has been recovering well, and is likely to return to action somewhere in early 2023.

Bumrah posted his rehabilitation video on his social media handle Instagram with a caption on Friday saying, “Never easy, but always worth it.”

The 28-year-old bowler was seen running, stretching, and performing a variety of exercises in the video.

The Mumbai Indians pacer has been out of action since September due to a back injury. He was also ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia after he failed to regain his fitness on time.

Earlier in August, Bumrah was diagnosed with a stress reaction. He missed the Asia Cup later that month. He was deemed fit for the T20 World Cup. He even took part in the T20 series against Australia ahead of the World Cup. He played two matches in the series but he was again ruled out of the next series against South Africa due to recurring back pain.
