Internet Desk: The Office of the Ombudsman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has found no conflict of interest whatsoever in the case of national selector (North Zone) Vikram Rathour, who holds a British passport as well as an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.

Mumbai-based activist Niraj Gunde had filed a complaint against Rathour, alleging that the former India player could not be a member of the senior selection committee as his “loyalty to the BCCI” was conflicted.

In his order, Justice (retd.) Ajit Prakash Shah has given Rathour a clean chit.

Justice Shah has also dismissed allegations of conflict of interest against BCCI media manager Nishant Arora, saying that the charges levelled by Gunde “cannot be an issue of consideration”. Gunde had alleged that Arora was formerly an agent/manager of Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh.

Earlier, Justice A.P. Shah had given clean chit to former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly on conflict of interest issue.
