Mumbai City FC lodge a complaint against Sandesh Jhingan and Tiri

XtraTime Web Desk – When the table toppers in form of Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan clashed to take the supreme position in the league, people expected for some exciting football. There was excitement but ugly side can’t be neglected.

Fall’s boot Arindam’s eye just before the half-time whistle. Arindam was given a lot of treatment and in one point he was thought to be substituted but the local boy showed a lot of character and decided to continue the match.

Post that incident, Arindam was facing a lot of sledging. Youngster Vikram Partap Singh was behind that and Arindam Singh was not happy with that. Even Tiri and Sandesh Jhingan was not happy with his behaviour. It was seen on camera that Sandesh Jhingan used his feet pick him up and then Tiri pulled his jersey to pick him up. Something that no one appreciated.

Cause of that incident, Mumbai City FC lodged a complaint against the defensive duo. If proved guilty, the pair can get a suspension of 1 or 2 games.

Sandesh Jhingan on his social media however claimed that he was trying to pat and have a check on him. Mumbai City FC’s goalkeeper, Amrinder Singh defended him and said that people are spreading negativity. More so, the main man himself had his say. Vikram Partap said, “It’s all fine Paji. I know it’s nothing intentional. We trained personally, so I am very well aware of your nature. I know how much you care for players health and it was heartwarming that apart from all the heat of the moment, you actually came and asked how I was feeling”.

Now, it’s time to see whether or not the defensive duo will be punished by FSDL or AIFF or not. At this moment, it’s unlikely to happen.
