Image Source: Xtra Time[/caption] Internet Desk: A brilliant century from Arindam Ghosh guided Mohun Bagan to a healthy total of 344/6 against arch rivals East Bengal on the first day of CAB 1^st Div. League quarter final at JU campus on Monday. Arindam scored an unbeaten 120 off 191 balls to help his team post a huge total. Mohun Bagan captain Subhamoy Das decided to bat first after winning the toss. The Bagan captain scored a gritty knock of 70 runs. All rounder Sanjeev Sanyal too chipped in with a quick fire 63 runs off 48 balls. Isan Porel and B Amit got couple of wickets each for East Bengal. The man of the day was definitely Arindam Ghosh. According to the Railways batsman, “It was extremely difficult to bat in the heat. But what pushed me on was the team’s cause. We did not taste much success in local cricket last season. So, it was important for us to post a huge total on the board.” It will be a golden opportunity for Mohun Bagan to reach the last four stage of the CAB 1st Div. League.
