Mohun Bagan clears all the dues of coaches & players
XtraTime Web Desk: Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan has finally cleared all the due salaries of all the coaches, players and support staff on July 7, 2020. In a mail they have shared the news to everyone.
It reads,”We are pleased to inform you that Mohun Bagan Football Club (India) Pvt. Ltd has already cleared the due salaries of the All Coaches (Foreigners & Indian), Players (Foreigners & Indian) and Support Staff (Foreigners & Indian), today, July 7, 2020. Please incorporate the necessary inputs marked in bold.”
It further added,” Kindly note, Club had made a commitment to clear the dues of All Players, Coaches and Support Staff by July 20, 2020. Mohun Bagan FC is happy to have fulfilled the commitment and wish the players, coaches and support staff a successful future.”
A month ago Bagan officials had stated that they will clear all the dues soon and they have kept their words today. Top two Bagan officials, club secretary Srinjoy Bose and finance secretary Debashish Datta had messaged all the players that their dues will be cleared in two installments. The dates of the payments had also been clearly mentioned in the message.
